The name of this Dharamshala is Ramchandra Champalal Maheshwari Dharamshala which was established in the year 1961. This Dharamshala is quite big and has around 300 rooms, big and small.
According to an estimate, it is said that around two to three lakh people come and stay here throughout the year.
There is an office at the gate of Dharamshala itself. There are fountains in front of the office with two statues in the middle. These two statues probably belong to the same person in whose name this Dharamshala is named.
There is plenty of space to park vehicles near these fountains. There are four storey buildings all around, in which there are rooms according to different categories.
The fare for staying in Dharamshala starts from Rs 120. You can easily get a room for around Rs 250.
To stay here, apart from the photocopy of the identity card, you will also have to keep a lock with you. The checkout time here is 12 noon.
You have to keep in mind that the gate of Dharamshala closes at ten o'clock in the night. The rooms are simple and most toilets and bathrooms are common. Cleanliness will also be simple.
The biggest feature of this place is that it is in the middle of the city and it has very low rents but if you want a hotel like experience then you will not get it here.

You can also go here by shortcut from Roadways Bus Stand. On going from Roadways Bus Stand towards Surajpol, you can go directly to Champalal Dharamshala via Mewar Motor Link Road on the right side at the next turn.
