The body part below the head of the idol of Shyam Baba i.e. Dhad (Body Part below Head), is made of sandal wood which is always covered with cloth. This dress is called Baga.

This Dhad is always adorned with inner and outer dress. The width of the Baga dress is about one meter and the length is nine to ten hands.

Baba Shyam's inner Baga is changed only once a year on Basant Panchami while the outer Baga is changed daily.
