Corridor will be built till Khatu Shyam Mandir
Devotees going to Khatu Shyam Ji Temple will no longer have to walk between the vehicles. The Rajasthan government is going to construct a corridor from Ringas Khatu road to Lakhdatar Maidan for the convenience of the devotees.
This decision was taken in a meeting chaired by Vaibhav Galaria, Principal Secretary, PWD, Government of Rajasthan. Funds have been sanctioned for the project and the land acquisition work will start soon.
This three and a half kilometer long special corridor will be built by spending Rs 32.70 crore. In this corridor, the corridor of 57.60 meters will be such that there will be a green belt area of 13.80 meters on both sides.
When will this corridor be built?
One year time has been set for the completion of the project, out of which 6 months have been set for land acquisition and the remaining 6 months for construction work.
What will be the benefit of the corridor?
The biggest advantage of the corridor will be that the devotees will not have to go through narrow streets to reach the temple.
By not going in the narrow streets, the possibility of stampede will end and accidents due to this will decrease.
Another major advantage would be that the administration would not need to deploy additional Forces. Along with this, the darshan system will become more convenient.
