The Falgun fair of Baba Shyam is also known as Nishan Yatra or Falgun Festival. Special Nishan Yatra is organized during Phalgun fair.

This holy journey starts from Reengus, 18 km away from Khatu Dham. In this journey, the devotees of Shyam ji go to the Khatu Shyam temple on foot with a mark (flag) in their hands.

Devotees of Baba Shyam from all over the country come to Khatu for 10 days. At the time of the fair, millions of devotees come to visit Khatushyamji, dancing and singing with the mark of Baba Shyam.

Special bhajan evenings are organized in the fair in which famous bhajan singers come and provide spiritual entertainment to the devotees with their bhajans. Baba's devotees get lost in devotion and start dancing mesmerized.

Some devotees play with Gulaal. On the last day of the fair, special prasad of kheer and churma is made for Baba, which is later given to all the devotees.

Many devotees coming to the fair stay in Khatu Nagari till Holi and after celebrating the festival of colors in Baba Shyam's court on Holi, leave for their home.
