When Will Khatu Shyam Falgun Mela Be Held in 2026?

In the year 2026, the main Falgun Lakhi Mela of Khatu Shyam Ji will be held on Amalaki Ekadashi, which falls on 27 February 2026. This year, the fair will continue for 8 days, starting from 21 February and ending on 28 February 2026.

There is big and relief-giving news for the devotees of Khatu Shyam Ji. For the Falgun Lakhi Mela 2026, the administration has introduced several digital and convenient arrangements. These changes aim to make darshan of Baba Shyam more easy, safe, and well-organized. This year, the main focus of the administration is to modernize the system and reduce problems faced by devotees.

All important information related to the fair will now be available on a single website

SDM Monika Samor informed that a special website named SHYAMSARATHI.COM has been prepared and will become active from 5 February. On this website, devotees will get complete details about routes to Khatu, temple timings, darshan routes, parking block locations, online applications for bhandaras, and online vehicle pass forms. This digital system will reduce paperwork and unnecessary crowding.

High-Tech Parking Facility with QR Code

This year, the parking system is also being made completely high-tech. According to DSP Anand Rao, QR codes will be issued for all major parking areas during the fair. By scanning the QR code, devotees will be able to see the parking direction, full details, and parking capacity. Each parking area will have a different color QR background, making identification easy and helping to manage traffic smoothly.

Live Darshan Through Digital Screens

For the convenience of devotees, 44 digital screens are being installed across the mela area. Through these screens, devotees can watch live darshan of Baba Shyam from different routes. The screens will also display signboards, directions, route information, and other important announcements. LED screens will regularly show alerts and updates so that devotees always stay informed.

Aadhaar Card Entry Relaxation for Local Residents

Keeping the problems of local residents in mind, the administration has decided to allow movement based on Aadhaar cards for locals. Flex boards and banners will be placed at various locations, and security staff will be properly informed about this arrangement to avoid any inconvenience.

Strict Instructions for Other Arrangements

In official meetings, strict instructions have been given regarding road management, drinking water supply, electricity arrangements, clean public toilets, removal of temporary encroachments, parking management, darshan routes, and cleanliness of the temple premises. The clear objective of the administration is to provide maximum facilities through digital systems and reduce mismanagement during the Khatu Shyam Falgun Mela 2026.
